CHENAB VALLEY LAKE TREK 2023

The Chenap lake bughyal is one of the unexplored valley of the Garhwal area. It is situated at the elevation of 13000 ft at the bottom of the Sona Shikhar Peak. In this valley are two lakes, the Swanu & Nandu lakes, a splendor for every trekker.

Day 1: 10 km motor road to Vishnu Prayag & 8 km trek to Thaing village.

The distance of the Chenap valley from Joshimath   is 28 km.

To enter the valley, we have to cross a bridge at Visnupravag,

and trek to Thaing village. Camp for the night.

Day 2:   6 km trek to Dhar Kharak.

The next trek starts early in the morning with packed lunch to Dhar Khark or Baidwa Kharak. The trek crosses a huge forest, one can enjoy many beautiful springs on the way. The second halt is at Dhar Khark; from here Chenap valley is only 4 km.

Day 3: 4 km trek to Chenap Meadow.

Once in the valley, one can see all the top peaks of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve.

From July to September, the valley is full with many types of flowers & ayurvedic medicine plants. According a survey by Bengalis naturalists, there are more than 315 species of flowers over there. Despite its interest, the valley has remained completely unspoiled.

From here the trekkers can go to Badrinath via the Neelkantha base camp.

Day 4 to Day 10 - Arrive Badrinath via Mana Vilage

Standard packages  :

Cost for  per person : Rs.39,989/- per person.

Deluxe packages :  Rs.59,989 per head. 

COST INCLUDES:
1.    Accommodation in Joshimath on all three meals in a day.
2.    Dinner Breakfast & Lunch on trek tour and neat and clean accommodation in Joshimath

1. Any meals / services not mentioned above.
2. Porters or ponies for personal stuff.
3. Mineral water and bottled drinks.
4. Items of personal Nature.
5. anything that is not include in cost Personal expenses like tips, telephone calls, laundry, mineral water, sleeping bags etc..
6. Liquor, soft drinks, bottled water, beverages, etc.
7.  Any expenses rising due to bad weather, landslides, etc.
8 . Travel insurance

NOT INCLUDED:   Alcohol, bottled water or soft drinks. Tip for Guide staff or porters. Entry fees
 
TRANSPORT:  Transport is by private car NAC with an  best driver our own company employ drivers.
 
SPENDING MONEY:  You should allow for incidentals and tips, perhaps a little more if you enjoy a few beers as these are comparatively expensive in India.
 
INSURANCE:  It is a condition of joining any of our tours that you hold adequate insurance cover.  This must include  medical and personal accident insurance

Number of Persons on the trek:   Minimum 04 members are required to run any of the fix departure trips

Food on the trek: We emphasize on clean and hygienic meal s on the trek.  Breakfast & Dinner are full hot meals. Lunches are picnic lunches as we driving or trekking that time. 

Water on the trek:  we carry ample of bottled water in the jeep which can be used for the driving days. For the trek we use boiled stream water, which is equally good or some time better.

Your accommodation in Rishikeshbefore & after the trek:  We have our own best located guest house in Rishikesh , which you can use before and after the main trek.

Your Travel to Rishikesh-  As we have a fleet of cars & jeeps, we shall be happy to provide you pickups from Delhi & Dehradun Airport. We shall also help you arrange you flight or train tickets from Delhi to Haridwar & Dehradun.

First Aid on the trek: we carry a good first Aid Kit on the trek , however it is recommended to carry your own specific requirements.
